IK Sirius goalkeeper David Mitov Nilsson, 33, is on an expiring contract that expires this summer. The 33-year-old started the season as a starter in the first three rounds in the Allsvenskan, but has remained on the bench during the last three series matches.
Currently, Mitov Nilsson does not want to say much about his future. However, he believes that it does not matter that much that he has been poked lately.
– It doesn’t matter if I play or not. We are in discussions and that shows that there is an interest, he tells UNT .
At the same time, UNT also has information that there is concrete interest from IFK Norrköping.
– I play in Sirius and they are the ones I discuss with, says the veteran.
Mitov Nilsson joined Sirius from Sarpsborg during the winter of 2021. He also has a background with games in Gif Sundsvall, IFK Norrköping and IF Sylvia. With Beijing, he won SM gold in 2015.
