Albert Gudmundsson has responded to a strong season where he has been noted for 14 Serie A goals for his Genoa.
This has led to several clubs eyeing the Icelander who joined from AZ Alkmaar during the 2022 winter window. Clubs previously reported to be interested include Inter, Juventus and Tottenham. Now, however, they may have competition from another Serie A club.
Relevo states that even Napoli have taken a liking to the 26-year-old, who has made 37 international appearances for his Iceland.
An obstacle to a deal, however, could be the price tag. Gudmundsson has a contract that runs until 2027, meaning the club is in no rush to sell the striker. Previous media reports have claimed that Genoa requires at least 30 million euros, equivalent to 349 million kroner, to sell.
